I'm a Northwestern University graduate, with a B.A. in Gender Studies and Theatre with a concentration in costume design. I'm also a certified professional bra-maker. I trained with Beverly Johnson at the only custom bra-making school in the world.
I was lucky enough to grow up in an art family, where creativity was essential. As such, I've been designing and creating art all of my life. I started sewing in the 3rd grade and never stopped.
My specialty has always been dress up. As evidenced by the photo on the left, home-made costumes have a rich long history with me. I love expressing myself through my clothing and making myself into walking art, and am always eager to help others do the same. I feel better about life when I define how I look and what I communicate walking through it. Try as I may, beautiful fabrics and designs just keep drawing me back, which is why we're here right now.

Other than aesthetics, my other main passion is for social justice. My goal with Renegade Lingerie is to combine these interests and fight the barrage of body-negativity through my sewing. I love you, and I love your body and whatever you want to do with it. I think people of all types and sizes should have clothing and underwear that supports them, and that fits their bodies and lifestyles. If you want to share your gripes or your positive stories about bras, underwear, or binders, I keep a running tab of wrongs to right and examples to follow, and am always happy to listen!
