Bras, Swimsuits, & Sleepwear
Virtually all styles of bras and swimwear from Renegade Lingerie can be made as mastectomy bras, either:
- fitting and properly supporting prostheses,
- made to properly support both sides after reconstruction surgery, or
- simply made flat, on one or both sides
Many people can benefit from custom lingerie, but custom design becomes particularly important and relevant when one has to manage new sensitivities and accommodations around one's breasts. In individually fitting your lingerie, we can make sure to design around any sensitive areas, integrate your chosen style of prosthesis, or lack thereof, all while keeping both your comfort and your sense of style as a priority.
Prostheses
Bras and swimsuits can be made:
- to house existing prostheses, or
- with a new lightweight built-in or removable prosthesis
Multiple Wire Styles
For those with concerns about underwires, almost all bras* and all swimsuits are available with standard underwires, plastic wires, or in a wireless style.
- Both standard and plastic wires can be individually cut low to accommodate any of the sore or sensitive areas women frequently get, especially in the underarm area
*The exception is strapless bras, which require standard underwires to support their structure.
Works with various sensitivities
- Designs to work with mobility issues, such as special closures that can be done and undone with one hand
- Options for front or back closures
- Latex-free elastic for sensitive skin
